As an individual, put yourself in the position those workers are right now in Ekiti state (Nigeria), then you would be able to understand the pains they are passing through after working for months and their salaries are not paid. These are people with families, their children are also in various schools, how do you expect them to feed and at the same time take care of their families? The stress alone for not receiving their salaries which they worked for can lead to stress related illnesses which may result to death. Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state and other governors in Nigeria who are owing workers’ salaries and pensioners’ allowances collect monthly allocation from the federal government of Nigeria, they also get money from the internally generated revenue from their states, why is it hard for them to pay their workers and pensioners? In future, this group of governors would want to be senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or president of Nigeria after their tenure of office as governors ends. Now we (Viewers Corner News team) are reminding these debt owing governors in Nigeria that the wickedness they are showing to the people of their states by making them suffer hardship may be an obstacle to their future political career in the country (Nigeria) assuming they decide to vie for another political office. Please governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state (Nigeria), pay those workers and pensioners you are owing in Ekiti state (Nigeria). Somehow using peanuts to buy Christmas dresses for the children of those you are owing is not enough, such gifts should have been a bonus to the children of those workers from you as the governor of Ekiti state (Nigeria) after the salaries of their parents have been settled including those of the pensioners which is the truth and nothing but the truth.
