GOVERNOR AYODELE FAYOSE OF EKITI STATE IS ACCUSING EX-PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO AS BEING THE FATHER OF CORRUPTION IN NIGERIA AS ALLEGED. IS HE ANY BETTER?

Politics in Nigeria to lots of people is the easiest way to become a billionaire hence everyone wants to become a politician in the country (Nigeria) but in our (Viewers Corner News) opinion, it should not necessarily be so. We believe that as a politician, what should go into your mind is the welfare of the people by using the available resources within your reach to create infrastructures for them but unfortunately this is not done. Most politicians in the country (Nigeria) use the fund meant for development to enrich themselves which is bad. Look at governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state who allegedly took 10 million Naira state government money with impunity and donated it to ex-president Obasanjo’s library project.

Obasanjo Presidential Library Complex.
He is now demanding for the refund of that money from Obasanjo because may be he had misunderstanding with him. He knows very well that such money can never be refunded because he was not in any pressure to donate such huge sum of money for such project as at when it was donated. This is a man who is owing workers’ salaries and pensioners’ allowances for months in his state. Other state governors in Nigeria also donated to that project while people in their states who voted for them to become governors can barely feed well, this is wickedness, We (Viewers Corner News team) regard it as a crime against humanity for donating such huge sum of money to a project like that when the people from their various states are hungry. However it is just a matter of time for governor Ayodele Fayose to finish his tenure of office, then he may be called upon to explain to the Nigerian authority how Ekiti state funds were spent. At the moment immunity covers him but not forever and other state governors in Nigeria may also be called upon to explain what happened to all the money they were given to create better lives for the people of their states. Nigerians both home and abroad would need answers to all these questions when the time comes.
