Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state is one man that has committed lots of blunders with his mouth during the last presidential election days and up till now, he has not learnt his lesson. It gets to a point in one’s life when one has to slow down a bit and tread carefully, now an allegation of 1.35 billion Naira has already been tied on his neck which prompted lots of people within his state (Ekiti state) to carry out protests. This is a governor who has not been able to pay workers’ salaries in Ekiti state but is able to embezzle 1.35 billion Naira for himself as alleged within the first six months in office, this is too bad. The evidence against governor Ayo Fayose on this issue is very strong and damaging based on Viewers Corner News findings. If governor Ayo Fayose can embezzle this huge amount of money 1.35 billion Naira as alleged for himself alone without thinking of the people of Ekiti state then he is not the saint people thought he is. Honestly this attitude is wrong, however we (Viewers Corner News) are waiting and watching to see how the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will handle this issue. We also believe that matters of this nature should be investigated properly and prosecuted too, no governor should use immunity as a yardstick to defraud the state government. This is unacceptable because people voted for you to lead them and use the available resources within the state to create better facilities for them and not using the money to acquire personal properties.
