GOVERNOR ABUBAKAR BADARU OF JIGAWA STATE (NIGERIA) HAS RELEASED 1.16 BILLION NAIRA FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS IN HIS STATE.

Viewers Corner News correspondent learnt that Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa state has released 1.16 billion Naira for the commencement of the 104 kilometres Baturiya-Yelwa-Abonabo road construction in his state (Jigawa). This was made known to the public on Monday by the governor during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse (the state capital). According to the governor, the road project which was awarded by the immediate past government of the state but was later abandoned would be executed in three phases, the first phase would cover 33 kilometers from Arewawa-Baturiya, the second phase would cover Baturiya-Yelwawa-Abunabo and the third phase would be for Chafchafno-Kadira-Are-Guri. He also stated that the road project is expected to be completed before May 2019 and when completed, it will positively affect the socio-economic well-being of Jigawa state people.
