Viewers Corner appreciates the kind and humanitarian gesture granted to the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki by the Federal High Court so that he could travel abroad to have his cancer treated, this is very nice.
Is better to save life first and then face the law later for the alleged offence he committed.
If we examine very closely the amount of money some of these politicians embezzled from the Nigerian treasury and sent to foreign banks, that could be more than enough to build standard hospitals that can handle all sorts of medical situations in Nigeria but because of wickedness, greed, selfishness and the I don’t care attitude in their system, this has been the reason why Nigeria is in this situation till today. Anytime these politicians are sick, they are flown abroad immediately for a first class treatment. What of the ordinary Nigerians? When they fall sick if they are not lucky, they die just like that which is very wrong.
Viewers Corner is appealing to President Buhari to please have medical care as one of his first priorities so that when the less privileged Nigerians fall sick, they can get a better treatment in the country. Now Sambo Dasuki is going to take his treatment abroad, what of the ordinary Nigerians who may be in a similar situation and have no money to take a first class treatment, then the person will just die like that. Human beings are created the same way therefore the few privileged ones should show concern by using the available resources in Nigeria to create good medical facilities for everyone in the country.
