The former governor of Akwa Ibom state (Nigeria), Godswill Akpabio was invited recently by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on an alleged corruption charges of about 108 billion Naira.
Somehow, this former governor and currently senator, Mr Godswill Akpabio may have done well in Akwa Ibom state in the past but based on the information Viewers Corner gathered from a reliable source in Akwa Ibom, it was noted that Godwill Akpabio embezzled lots of money from the state treasury. He was also quoted as among those rich governors that donated huge sum of money up to 5 billion Naira to fund ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election campaign, that was huge and how did he get this sort of money to give out just for a political campaign only.
This bring us again to Nigerian politicians that looted the Nigerian treasury with impunity while millions of Nigerians can barely feed well.
