President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana made some interesting speech which is worthy of emulating by African leaders. He said that Ghana can no longer be dependent on the production and export of only raw materials including Cocoa bean, that the country (Ghana) would also want to produce her own Chocolates which in our (Viewers Corner News team) opinion is a nice one if implemented. The countenance of some Europeans who were present when President Nana Akufo-Addo made the speech of Ghana producing her own Chocolates can easily be noticed because some of those advance countries of the world would want the continent of Africa to remain a raw material producing continent just for their own selfish and dominant attitude. The speech President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana gave should not be seen as only for Ghana but should be a lesson to other countries in the continent of Africa. Stop being a raw material producing country only, advance it to a finishing product which would create jobs and growth for your various countries in the continent. Invite countries where you are exporting your raw materials to and ask them to set up factories in your various countries so that finished products can be made. Now hear this, your country produces raw materials and sell it for peanuts, later those finished products are sent back to you at a very high cost making it very expensive for you to buy. In our calculation, it is like giving your raw materials free to those who buy them from you. Again, setting up factories in your various countries in the continent of Africa starting from raw material to a finished product have so many advantages, therefore Viewers Corner News team is calling on all African countries to adopt such system just like President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana said of his country wanting to produce her own Chocolates. It is a wise decision in the right direction for all countries in the continent of Africa to start having their products which should also be exported to other countries of the world. Now is the time to get started and put things right for the future generation of your various countries in Africa.
