GERMANY WOULD GRANT BRITAIN A SHORT TERM EXTENSION FOR ITS EXIT FROM EUROPEAN UNION.

Viewers Corner News correspondent reported that Germany would grant Britain a short term extension for its exit from European Union. Heiko Maas (Germany’s Foreign Minister) stated this on Wednesday, October 23 in an interview. Heiko Maas said that the extension would be given to Britain if it is for the right political reason in order to allow UK for smooth ratification. On Tuesday, 22 October 2019, after Boris Johnson’s (British Prime Minister) defeat in parliament which made ratification of his Brexit deal by the October 31 deadline almost impossible, he said that it was up to the EU to decide whether it wanted to delay Brexit and for how long.
