GERMANY HAS ISSUED A BILL OF €149 BILLION (£130 BILLION) TO CHINA FOR CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PANDEMIC DAMAGES.

Viewers Corner News correspondent in Berlin reported that a bill of €149 billion (£130 billion) was recently sent to China by Germany for damages inflicted on the country by Wuhan Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The bill which sparked fury in China was sent after Germany’s major newspaper “Bild” put together a £130 billion bill that China owes Germany following the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The bill includes €24 billion in lost for tourism revenue from March to April, €7.2 billion in losses for the German film industry, €1 million per hour in costs for German airline (Lufthansa), and €50 billion in lost profits for German small businesses. Germany has joined the United States, France and United Kingdom in directing its Coronavirus anger at China where the virus originated. Germany called out China’s responsibility for the global pandemic after it was alleged that China appeared to cover up the true impact of the crisis in the country (China). China responded by claiming that the bill stirs up nationalism, prejudice, xenophobia, and hostility to China. Recently, the United States President Donald Trump accused China of lacking transparency and warned that China would face consequences if the country deliberately unleashed the coronavirus pandemic. President Trump also said that China could have stopped the pandemic before it started but it didn’t and now the whole world is suffering because of it.
