Viewers Corner News correspondent in Duesseldorf reported that the German government on Wednesday, 5 May 2021 banned a Muslim group called Ansaar International and its sub-organizations for allegedly donating money to support terrorism globally. The government alleged that the Muslim group through its donations was financing terror groups such as the Syrian al-Qaida affiliate (Al-Nusra Front), the Palestinian group Hamas and al-Shabab in Somalia under the disguise of humanitarian help. German police raided buildings associated with Ansaar International in 10 German states and seized about 150,000 euros.
