GERMAN POLICE HUNTS FOR THREE FORMER MEMBERS OF THE RED ARMY FACTION (RAF) MILITANT GROUP.

On Monday, November 13, 2017, German police announced that they need public help to hunt down the three former members of the Red Army Faction (RAF) militant group who took part in armed robbery last year (2016) in northern Germany. The video of the robbery was also published by the German police. The three former members are two men and one woman (Ernst-Volker Wilhelm Staub, Daniela Klette and Burkhard Garweg), between the ages of 49 and 63 and according to the report, they have been on the run for over 25 years. They were accused of being involved in robbery since 2001 in which over 370,000 euros have been stolen from money transfer stores and supermarkets. German authority has promised a cash reward of 80,000 euros to anyone who provides useful information about them. The Red Army Faction (RAF) militant group started out of students’ protests in the ’60s and they were suspected of killing 34 people between 1972 and 1991. In 1977, the group kidnapped and killed Hanns Martin Schleyer (an industrialist).
