GARUDA, INDONESIA AIR CARRIER PLANS TO CANCEL 4.9 BILLION DOLLARS ORDER OF BOEING 737 MAX PLANES AFTER ETHIOPIA CRASH.

Our correspondent in Jakarta learned that an Indonesian airline, Garuda is planning to cancel $4.9 billion order the company made for Boeing 737 Max planes. The airline cited passenger’s lost of trust and confidence in Boeing 737 Max planes after two crashes (Indonesian Lion Air and Ethiopian Airlines flight) which occurred within six months. PT Garuda Indonesia is the first airline to announce cancellation of the new Boeing model (737 Max) after the Ethiopian Airlines crash which killed 157 people last week.
