Game of Thrones, an American fantasy drama television series created for Home Box Office (HBO) by Show runners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss has made
the Guinness Book of Records for being the largest television drama simulcast. The drama broke the record after episode two of season five (The House of Black and White) was shown earlier this year in 173 countries simultaneously. The award was received by Maisie Williams who acts Arya Stark in the drama on behalf of the show.

Previously, the Guinness Book of Record’s largest television drama simulcast was held by CSI which aired in 171 countries simultaneously on March 4, 2015 before Game of Thrones broke the record.
