Viewers Corner News was informed that Gambia has announced its withdrawal from the International Criminal Court. According to the information, the government of Gambia has accused the Hague based tribunal of prosecuting only Africans for committing war crimes and ignoring the war crimes committed by the Western nations. President Yahya Jammeh of Gambia also called on the International Criminal Court to investigate the death of African migrants who died on the Mediterranean. Few days ago, South African government announced that the country is withdrawing from the International Criminal Court following the dispute it had with the court when South Africa government refused to hand over Omar al-Bashir (the Sudan president) for the alleged genocide and crimes against humanity which he was accused of. Burundi has also written to the court on its withdrawal and we (Viewers Corner News) heard that Kenyan government is also planning to withdraw its membership from International Criminal Court.
