FORD TO RECALL ABOUT 680,000 CARS DUE TO FAULTY SEAT BELTS.

Viewers Corner News Correspondent gathered that Ford plans to recall about 680,000 cars mainly in North America due to faulty front seat belts. According to the information, the front seat belts may not hold people during crash and the recall covers some 2013 to 2016 Ford Fusion, 2013 to 2015 Lincoln MKZ, 2015 and 2016 Ford Mondeo cars. Also Ford stated that heat generated during the seat belt pre-tensions can cause cables to break and if that happens, the belts may not hold people. Two injuries have been related to the problem and the recall is expected to begin on January 2017.
