President Buhari

FOR NIGERIA TO GROW AND BECOME GREAT, THE COUNTRY SHOULD GIVE CREDENCE TO PEOPLE’S INVENTIONS.

Nigeria has lots of talented individuals and they are everywhere in the country. These Nigerians are trying in their own little ways to be creative. They showcase their work online, which is so impressive. All they need is financial assistance and directives from the government of Nigeria to make their dreams become reality, and this will benefit the people of Nigeria in the long run if properly put into use. Look at Ms. Aisha Ishaq, who is a final year student of Applied Chemistry at the University of Kaduna in Nigeria. She developed a way to recycle polythene waste into candle wax. This is a million dollar project that can create jobs for the people of Nigeria. It will also bring growth into the economy of the country, but the government of Nigeria would leave such a great invention to end at a local level instead of taking it to the next level. Again, the government of Nigeria would map out billions of Naira to monitor social media, rather than using the money to do the right thing, which is bad. Another boy in Nigeria (Ikechukwu Divine Oramife) developed a car which he named LAMBO.

The government of Nigeria can tap into these great inventions and make them very profitable for the country, but they will not do that. In Nigeria, there are lots of graduates and undergraduates who are showcasing their inventions which need the attention of the government of Nigeria to make such inventions successful. Based on this, the Viewers Corner News team is calling on the government of Nigeria to redirect its activities towards a technology-driven economy. The Viewers Corner News team would also use this opportunity to plead with the government of Nigeria to stop budgeting money to execute irrelevant projects that would not bring benefits to the country. Doing so would always be a waste of money and time. Change the narrative now and grow like other nations in the world.
