FIVE PRISONERS WERE KILLED ON SATURDAY AFTER A MASS PRISON BREAK IN LEBANON.

On Saturday, 21 November 2020, more than 60 prisoners broke out of a prison in Baabda (a suburb of the Beirut, Lebanon) after smashing their cell doors and attacked prison guards. Our (Viewers Corner News) correspondent in Beirut (Lebanon’s capital) reported that five inmates among those escaped died when the car they stole crashed into a tree while police was pursuing them. About 15 inmates have been re-arrested by the police and four of the escaped prisoners surrendered themselves to the authority. Also the area around the prison has been sealed off by the security forces and manhunt has been launched for the remaining escaped prisoners.
