FIVE PEOPLE WERE REPORTED DEAD AND MANY MISSING IN EASTERN UGANDA LANDSLIDES.

Viewers Corner News correspondent in Kampala gathered that the recent landslides that happened in eastern Uganda (Bududa district) have claimed the lives of about five people and dozens are still missing. According to the report, the landslides occurred after heavy rains in eastern Uganda. A team of Red Cross and other authorities in the country were on ground in a rescue operation. Also people in vulnerable areas have been advised to evacuate and seek shelter with relatives who are in secure areas.
