FINLAND’S CENTER-LEFT PARTY (SOCIAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY) HAS WON THE COUNTRY’S PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION. CONGRATULATIONS.

The Center-left party has won Finland parliamentary election in a tight race with 17.7% of the total votes. The anti-immigration right-wing Finns Party came second with 17.5%. The National Coalition Party scored 17% and the Center Party got 13.8% of the total votes. Green League came 5th with 11.5% while the Left Alliance scored 8.2%. This is the first time in more than a century that no party in Finland’s election has won more than 20% of the vote and coalition talk is going to be tough. Last month (March), Mr Juha Sipila’s government resigned over failed healthcare reform.
