Jerome Valcke, FIFA Secretary General has been sacked by the world football governing body (FIFA) on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. According to our correspondent who obtained the information, the investigatory body of the FIFA Ethics Committee recently recommended that Valcke be banned for nine years from football game and also pay a fine of 100,000 Swiss franc due to his alleged involvement in corruption scandals in the world football governing body. Jerome Valcke is a close friend to the former FIFa President, Sepp Blatter and was FIFA Secretary General since 2007. His dismissal is with immediate effect and Dr. Markus Kattner, FIFA Acting Secretary General will replace Jerome Valcke as FIFA Secretary General according to report.
