FIFA ETHICS COMMITTEE HAS BANNED SEPP BLATTER AND MICHEL PLATINI FROM FOOTBALL FOR EIGHT YEARS.

Viewers Corner was informed that the former President of FIFA, Sepp Blatter and his longtime friend, Michel Platini have been banned from football for eight years by the FIFA Ethics Committee.  The 79-year-old Sepp Blatter who has been the FIFA President for over 18 years and Michel Platini were accused of corruption, mismanagement, conflict of interest, false accounting and non cooperation with the ethics committee. The committee which was chaired by the German judge, Hans-Joachim Eckert announced their decision concerning the two former strong men of FIFA on Monday, December 21, 2015 and according to report, Sepp Blatter vowed to fight the eight-year ban imposed on him by the Committee. In May 2015, Swiss police raided the five-star Baur au Lac hotel and arrested nine senior Fifa officials who were accused of money laundering, racketeering and other charges in United State.
