FIFA APPEAL COMMITTEE HAS REDUCED THE FOOTBALL BAN OF SEPP BLATTER AND MICHEL PLATINI FROM EIGHT YEARS TO SIX YEARS.

Viewers Corner’s correspondent learnt that the FIFA Appeal Committee has reduced the football ban of Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini from eight years to six years. The appeals which Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini made against their suspensions from football-related activities were dismissed, rather the committee reduced the length of their ban to six years. Also the appeal lodged by the investigatory chamber of the world football body (FIFA) to ban Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini for life from all football-related activity was dismissed by the FIFA Appeal Committee. The battling President of FIFA, Sepp Blatter and his colleague, Michel Platini were suspended last year December by the Ethics Committee of FIFA on alleged corruption related offences.
