Nigerians both home and abroad have pleaded with the Nigerian government to have her international passport extended to ten years period instead of the usual five years period which is a fair deal if made. We (Viewers Corner News team) have in the past written an article in favour of ten years period for the Nigerian international passport so that the Nigerian citizens both home and abroad would not have to be at the immigration office after ever five years to renew their international passport. Honestly most countries around the world have ten years period for their international passports which is very nice, therefore we are appealing to president Buhari and his government to kindly act quickly and extend the Nigerian international passport to ten years period as almost every Nigerian citizen have suggested. Nigeria is a progressive nation of the world and should care about the welfare of her citizens most especially in a situation such as this (ten years for Nigeria international passport).
