Kemi Adesina (the Finance minister of Nigeria) has explained to Nigerians and the world why the country (Nigeria) for many years has not moved forward and those leaders who ruled the country (Nigeria) in the past were there for their own selfish gains without knowing what to do. The most surprising aspect is that most of those past leaders claimed to have gone to the finest schools in Nigeria and abroad but ended up not doing the right thing which is bad. In the past, Viewers Corner News wrote articles concerning most of the points Kemi Adesina who is the finance minister of Nigeria pointed out as hindrances for the country’s growth. Now that Kemi Adesina (the finance minister of Nigeria) has explained it all, Nigerians should understand it properly. Again in a country (Nigeria) where people are going about calling themselves millionaires and billionaires, getting government’s contracts and living very large but were unable to pay taxes to the federal government of the country (Nigeria), how can such a country (Nigeria) move forward? We (Viewers Corner News) also wrote articles on tax policy as it affects Nigeria in the past which Kemi Adesina also talked about. We appreciate her work and if all she said which we had also written about in the past are to be implemented which we believe APC/president Buhari’s led government is doing their best to achieve, there is no way Nigeria will not move forward. We are also appealing to APC/president Buhari’s led government to keep on giving lectures to the Nigerian public on issues of the economy, perhaps with that majority that do not know will understand more on economic policies. In a country (Nigeria) of over 170 million people only few individuals pay taxes, this attitude can only happen in a third world country and that is one of the reasons they are lacking behind in most areas and should be corrected. Therefore we plead with Nigerians to support the APC/president Buhari’s led government to move the country (Nigeria) forward because is the only progressive government Nigeria ever had based on our assessment of them since gaining independence from Britain in 1960.
