Atiku Abubakar

EX-VICE PRESIDENT ATIKU ABUBAKAR ALLEGEDLY SAID THAT 13.5 MILLION CHILDREN MIGHT HAVE BEEN OUT OF SCHOOL IN NIGERIA.

About 13.5 million children as alleged are out of school in Nigeria, which is troubling. When such a remark comes from ex-vice president Atiku Abubakar, it is a troubling observation that should be addressed properly. It is not entirely the fault of APC/president Buhari’s led government. It started a long time ago when the Peoples Democratic Party led the government for 16 years in which Mr. Atiku Abubakar was a player in that government. Somehow, if the Peoples Democratic Party-led government had set up a good standard of practice when they were in power, any subsequent government would have followed their footsteps nicely. If the people of Nigeria can reflect, they would be able to know the damage done to the economy of Nigeria by the Peoples Democratic Party-led government. More than half of the revenues generated by Nigeria during the PDP era, which should have been used to build infrastructures and create jobs for the people of Nigeria, were stolen by politicians, leaving both the country and its people in abject poverty. Ex-vice president Atiku Abubakar and the past government of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are not in any position to criticize APC/president Buhari’s led government because they were worse when they were in power. Another interesting thing about the people of Nigeria is that they forgive and forget so easily about the issues that led them to the situation they are in. If not, no voter in Nigeria would ever cast his or her vote for the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria at any future election in the country because they created the problems of today which are bigger for APC/president Buhari’s led government to solve. Based on this, the Viewers Corner News team is campaigning against these elderly politicians both in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria who led Nigeria in the past to stay aside and allow the new generation of Nigeria with managerial and digital skills to run the affairs of the country. Most definitely, they will get it right.
