Dr Olusegun Obasanjo (ex-president of Nigeria) is an elder statesman and has some qualities to reckon with, but for quite sometime his inconsistency on the way forward for Nigeria is becoming worrisome which every voter in the country (Nigeria) should carefully look into before casting their votes for whoever they wish come 2019. In the past, he (Dr Olusegun Obasanjo) made some damaging remarks against Mr Atiku Abubakar who is contesting to lead Nigeria under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria, a political party that almost destroyed Nigeria before president Buhari came to power and doing his best to put things right. Based on ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo’s alleged statement, he said God shall not forgive him if he supports Mr Atiku Abubakar to lead Nigeria because of the reasons best known to him (Dr Olusegun Obasanjo) and posterity shall judge him wrongly if he went ahead to support him. These are strong remarks coming from an elder statesman to a presidential candidate of a political party (PDP) but today this same Dr Olusegun Obasanjo has endorsed Mr Atiku Abubakar to lead Nigeria. Honestly this attitude of Dr Olusegun Obasanjo saying one thing today and doing the other tomorrow is completely misleading. He should bear in mind that as an elder statesman, lots of Nigerians are looking up to him for guidance but as it stands now, his words may not count anymore before the people of the country (Nigeria).
We (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to Dr Olusegun Obasanjo to always maintain consistency at all times because this is the only way credibility would be giving to him anytime he speaks. Concerning Mr Atiku Abubakar, based on what we (Viewers Corner News team) know about him he may not make a good president of Nigeria though Mr Atiku Abubakar has little ideas concerning leadership but may not implement them because he has different agendas for the country (Nigeria) when issues of leadership is mentioned which is the truth and nothing but the truth. However we (Viewers Corner News team) shall write more on this topic as the election gets near.
