Our (Viewers Corner News team) comprehensive analysis on the way forward for Nigeria revealed that those who led Nigeria in the past are to blame and the most prominent among them is an elder statesman, Dr. Olusegun Obasanjo who was the ex-president of Nigeria. During his tenure when things were better, he failed completely to position Nigeria in a better manner perhaps because of lack of foresight and greed to build empire for himself and his family, let the truth be told. Sometime ago, he (Olusegun Obasanjo) said no one can intimidate him, sure as an elder statesman, no one would do that but we (Viewers Corner News team) would use this opportunity to remind him and those supporting his political movement that he (Viewers Corner News team) is misleading them because the politics of today has gone digital and men like him (ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo) are fast fading away. We (Viewers Corner News team) are saying so because as an elder statesman, ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo has never been consistent in his ways based on our findings and anyone who does so should be called a manipulator or a deceiver. These are also the views of some traditional rulers in Nigeria which we (Viewers Corner News team) believe as the only truth and nothing but the truth. Again ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo would say one thing today, before you know it, he is saying a different thing the next day which is not so good. A leader should be consistent and think properly before saying anything because lots of people mostly the youths are listening and wanting to learn from such elder statesman and if the activites of such elder is not in the right direction, then it would be destructive. Ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo has joined those criticizing president Buhari’s outing in the United States of America in a negative manner as alleged which is not fair. The truth is that generally, president Buhari performed nicely when he met president Donald Trump. Sincerely that visit by president Buhari has brought some benefits to Nigeria starting from the money Nigerian looters banked in the United States of America which would be returned to the country (Nigeria) sooner. Also Donald Trump’s body language indicated an interest to visit Nigeria in the near future if invited. All these are pass marks for president Buhari and his country (Nigeria). Nigerians should also remember that no past president of the United States of America has shown such support for Nigeria in the past, they only do so few months or weeks to the end of their tenure of office which is irrelevant because any promise or discussion within such period of time between both presidents would not yield anything better for both countries (USA and Nigeria), because the incoming president of America has his own agenda and this has been the practice of those past American presidents but with president Buhari the story is different. Ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo’s political ideas should completely be ignored because it is done on self interest to protect his empire which is now facing difficulties since president Buhari’s government allegedly found out the truth on how money belonging to the people of Nigeria were used to finance the private ventures of the ex-presidents of Nigeria which should not be so and as a result of that, they are ganging up against president Buhari because they know that if he is out of the way, they would have to install their own person for looting and other illegal businesses to continue but again president Buhari has vowed to put everything in order before leaving office in 2023 which is good. Within now and that period, all the loopholes of looting money massively would permanently be blocked, hence we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to Nigerians to re-elect president Buhari to power come 2019.
