EX-PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN MAY BE A GOOD MAN BUT DOES NOT HAVE LEADERSHIP QUALITY TO HAVE LED NIGERIA, HE SAID RECENTLY IN LONDON THAT HE DID NOT LEAVE EMPTY TREASURY AND IS BEING INVESTIGATED FOR CORRUPTION.

When ex-president Obasanjo handed over the mantle of leadership to late president Umaru Musa Yar’Adua and ex-president Goodluck Jonathan took over after his death (Umaru Musa Yar’Adua), everyone in the country (Nigeria) and around the world thought that ex-president Goodluck Jonathan would continue from where late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua stopped by improving, creating and working on the necessary facilities in the country (Nigeria) that would bring benefits to the citizens of Nigeria but unfortunately that was not done. Goodluck Jonathan turned around and begin to listen to some of those men who have no knowledge of economic policies, implementation and control. Men who never wanted the betterment of the Nigerian people, those were men of questionable characters who wanted only to enrich themselves and their families alone. These group of individuals never had the opportunity of penetrating ex-president Obasanjo’s administration because he was hard on them, again he knew and understood what they can do but immediately Goodluck Jonathan came into office, he became a target to those evil men. Somewhere along the line  he was manipulated to doing their bids which led to the situation Nigeria is at the moment. Again everyone of them started giving advice to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan both from the North, South, West and East, so at that point ex-president Goodluck Jonathan became a confused man. Goodluck Jonathan being a soft human being in nature fell into their trap hence Nigerian treasury became easily accessible to all of them and stealing started to a point where it can no longer be controlled even the highly educated ones from abroad came back and joined them. Some of them were the ones ex-president Obasanjo sacked from his government for reasons best known to him but Goodluck Jonathan went and brought them back without asking questions. This is because he lacks the wisdom to know who was better suited for the job and instead of those people creating employment in the country (Nigeria), they resorted to borrowing money from the international community to feed the people of Nigeria because they did not know how to put two plus two together to achieve results.
Even the money ex-president Obasanjo left behind in the treasury was squandered carelessly and recklessly by ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s administration. Everything went out of hand and all those that were within the clique started looting the treasury of Nigeria. Now as a leader, we expected ex-president Goodluck Jonathan to have known what to do at that point even men within his clique became billionaires over night including himself too. Honestly there is no way money could get missing in your administration without you noticing it unless you are incompetent, we are talking of billions of hard earned Nigerian Naira here. That is why you have to be investigated to give  account of how it happened. Again any country of the world that would borrow money to feed her citizens would always lag behind that was what happened in ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s government.
Now that a serious government (APC/Buhari led government) is in power who would not leave anything behind no matter who is involve in stealing from the Nigerian treasury, the looters must return all what they took back to the federal government of Nigeria. Some people in Nigeria are blaming the APC/Buhari led government for the economic hardship in the country, Viewers corner News do not believe that  Buhari’s government should be blamed for that because if ex-president Goodluck Jonathan had worked nicely when he came to power, president Buhari should have gotten a good starting point but he never did instead he ruined the economy of the country (Nigeria) with his close associates which president Buhari is trying to put together but these things needs time to achieve. Again we believe that ex-president Goodluck Jonathan should come and tell the Nigerian people what went wrong during his tenure so investigating him is very necessary, we are also appealing to Nigerians to kindly play down a bit on sentiments and allow the laws of the land to take its due course on issues such as this because if the truth is known and money recovered, it would go a long way in making the country (Nigeria) great for the citizens.
