In one of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s speeches, he said that he was elected to generate wealth and again working for someone may not make anyone rich, yes you are right to an extent but if we work in an honest manner, we can be very comfortable with whatever money we receive as long as the government in question is ready to do its own part correctly. With that it would enable us live a normal and happy life which is the essence of life generally. However your statement sounds so good but your idea of generating wealth was not handled the right way because your government in the past created an opportunity only for the rich ones in the country (Nigeria) to get richer while the poor ones in Nigeria were not carried along. Instead of planning for the future with the available resources in the country, your government resorted to a sharing formula which led Nigeria into recession, economics does not work like that.
We have carefully examined and analyzed your system over the years you were in power, if you (ex-president Goodluck Jonathan) were not voted out of office by now, Nigeria would have been out of service in all aspects. We thank God who brought president Buhari, his government will surely fix the economy of Nigeria nicely. It might take some time but he will get the business done correctly. Our (Viewers Corner News team) reason for discussing this is that in recent times, you (ex-president Goodluck Jonathan) have been making some statements that seem not to be right as a leader and when you keep on treading on this part, someone would have to let you know that you are deviating. Look at Sambo Dasuki, Diezani Allison Madueke, Fani Kayode, Olisa Metuh, we can go on and on to mention the names of those P.D.P. members who became very rich when you were in power through public money as alleged. Is this your method of generating wealth? If yes then it was totally wrong. Our advice to you (ex-president Goodluck Jonathan) is this, now that most of those that served in your government in the past are facing different corruption related charges which the courts in Nigeria are trying to determine how they allegedly stole trillions of public money under your watch, all you need to do now is to be quiet a bit and watch how the court is handling the issues because giving lectures or speeches on political matter on how you led the country in the past and at the same time trying to play holy may put you in a difficult situation. Please tread carefully until when it is right for you to speak, this is just an advice from concern citizens of the world.
