Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan's

EX-PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN ALLEGEDLY MADE OVER 50 TRILLION NAIRA FROM CRUDE OIL SALES WHILE IN OFFICE BUT NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT. TOO BAD.

Viewers Corner News team would always visit the report card of the past government before President Buhari took over the leadership of Nigeria so as to update Nigerians both the truth about ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s failed government. The truth would always help the Nigerian voters to move the country forward by electing leaders at various levels who are not corrupt but very competent. Now hear this; ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s government was a total failure no matter how people see it. If President Buhari and his government had the opportunity ex-president Goodluck Jonathan had when price of crude oil was high, Nigeria would not have borrowed so much money to finance certain projects in the country. Look at rail projects under the leadership of President Buhari, it is so amazing, though President Buhari and his government are facing series of criticism because lots of people in Nigeria want him to fail by creating insecurity across Nigeria to tarnish the image of his administration. Another point is that no government in the past as far as infrastructure is concerned has ever done half of what President Buhari has done based on our findings. The only problem is that President Buhari has refused to change strategy on issues of insecurity, therefore Viewers Corner News team is appealing to President Buhari to listen to the advice of everyone, calling for the retirement of all the service chiefs and bring in new ones with fresh ideas into the system. Every situation requires fresh approach, most especially when the one being used is no longer yielding positive results. On the issue of economy, the federal government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Buhari should encourage mechanized farming to feed the growing population of Nigeria. In doing so, the issue of insecurity should be tackled for easy movement because we believe that if the country is safe, people would have the opportunity to go around and engage themselves into doing something meaningful. Viewers Corner News team is again appealing to President Buhari to lay off some ministers in his cabinet who are dormant, replace them with innovative and hardworking individuals who would liaise with other institutions of the world to achieve success. Look at the science and technology ministry of Nigeria which is supposed to be moving the economy of Nigeria towards technological development, the minister there is performing below expectation which is not good, yet he can not be sacked. There are also other ministers in President Buhari’s government who go to their offices and at the end of the day, they go back home without making any meaningful contribution to the growth of the economy of Nigeria. Such ministers should leave so that more competent ones can be appointed. More on this topic would come in our next article.
