Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state

Ex-governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State in Nigeria wants the fraud case against him transferred from Abuja to his state.

Ex-governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State in Nigeria, who allegedly stole so much money from the treasury of his state when he was the governor, has appealed to the court in Abuja to transfer the fraud case against him to Kogi State. Over 80 billion naira fraud case was tied to the neck of ex-governor Yahaya Bello. The surprising aspect of the story is that Mr. Yahaya Bello wants the fraud case to transfer to Kogi State. What this means is that if the fraud case is moved to Kogi State, ex-governor Yahaya Bello would be able to turn the case in his favour, but unfortunately the Abuja court rejected the request, which is nice. We have written about this fraud case in the past and how corrupt ex-governor Yahaya Bello was while serving the people of his state. He is a very corrupt man who should be tried, and if convicted, he should be put into jail for a long period of time. Doing so will serve as a lesson to those with the mindset of going into politics to loot the treasury of their states.
