Ex-governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state spent eight years as governor but failed to build a hospital in his state.

Ex-governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state is pleading that the court grant him permission to travel abroad for medical treatment. He was in office for eight years as a governor but was unable to build a hospital, despite all the allocations he received from the federal government of Nigeria to get Imo state working better. During ex-governor Rochas Okorocha’s tenure, he allegedly spent 650 million naira to celebrate Christmas. In Imo state, ex-governor Rochas Okorocha built the status of various prominent individuals, which cost huge sums of money. These are very irrelevant projects that have no economic value. Now he is begging the federal government of Nigeria to allow him to travel to the United States of America for medical treatment. What a shame. The Viewers Corner News team is calling on the appropriate authorities in Nigeria to deny ex-governor Rochas Okorocha’s request to travel abroad for medical treatment. There are lots of hospitals in Nigeria; ex-governor Rochas Okorocha should be taken to any of them so that he can be treated. This will serve as a lesson to other leaders in Nigeria who have refused to build hospitals in their various states/communities.
