No matter how long it may take, we are of the opinion that someday a corrupt free governor will be elected in Ebonyi State, and when it happens, those who victimized political opponents, closed down businesses of the people of Ebonyi State, and also looted the treasury of the state to favour them and their corrupt associates shall be brought to face the law. It is just a matter of time; it shall surely happen someday. Again, if a governor who knows his job and the hardship which the people of Ebonyi State are facing had been elected to lead the state, we believe that there is no way such a leader would use over six billion naira at this hard time to purchase vehicles for government officials, as alleged, without first considering the people of Ebonyi State, but governor Francis Nwifuru did just that, which is so surprising. This is absolutely a waste of Ebonyi state money, which should have been used to better the lives of the poor people of the state. Governor Francis Nwifuru is doing his master’s wish, but then there is nothing that lasts forever. Hence, we are appealing to the people of Ebonyi State to look towards 2027 and see if they can elect a good leader who would carry all the people of Ebonyi State along by providing the necessary things that they need, which would let them have a comfortable life.
