Ex-governor Chimaraoke Nnamani

Ex-governor Chimaraoke Nnamani of Enugu state in Nigeria is being accused of stealing over 41 million dollars to purchase a home in the United States.

The attitude of most Nigeria’s governors, both past and present ones, who stole money and are still stealing from the treasury of their various states is common. They are very corrupt and have the mindset that as soon as they are elected to office as governors, their first agenda is to start stealing from the treasury of their states to build mansions for themselves instead of working to improve the welfare of the people of their states. Ex-governor Chimaraoke Nnamani of Enugu state is not an exception. If Nigerians look further, they will discover that most of these governors in Nigeria are guilty of this offence of stealing from the treasury of their states. The sad aspect of it all is that they are not building infrastructure for their states, instead they will leave huge debts behind for the incoming governors to carry, which is bad. However, the Viewers Corner News team believes that beginning in 2023, with the awareness being created by Mr. Peter Obi, who is the presidential candidate of the Labour Party on issues of governance, there will be significant changes in the country. Also, people from various states of Nigeria would be able to hold their governors accountable if they failed to implement the projects that they promised their people. So, Nigerians should be hopeful that good things will start coming to the country in 2023.
