The history of corruption in Nigeria started longtime ago and has grown so deep in the country (Nigeria), involving lots of big names in every sector of the Nigerian economy but the problem now is which government or who is really going to hit the nail on the head? We mean real hard, president Buhari and his government are trying but the real god fathers are there and until these henchmen are brought down, the war against corruption would still not be won completely. Look at the Senate and the House of representatives in Nigeria that are supposed to guide, protect and lead the people correctly are themselves the alleged corrupt syndicates, so tell me how anyone can eradicate such epidemic in the country (Nigeria). Another surprising aspect is that majority of Nigerians are not seeing the problems created by these corrupt individuals because of sentiments which makes it very difficult to eradicate. Look at Abdulmumin Jibrin who has been in the House of representatives for quite sometime is now coming out to expose those he felt were corrupt leaders, the question is why now? That means if he had not been sacked, no one would ever hear of all these allegations against those law makers which himself (Abdulmumin Jibrin) is also part of.
Our (Viewers Corner News) sincere advice to president Buhari and his government is this, get real hard on those corrupt leaders no matter who is involve or his connection in the country (Nigeria) and bring them to book. This is the only way a total cleanup would be generally acceptable to the Nigerian public and in doing so, lots of people in the country would not see the war against corruption as one sided. Now if we calculate the billions of Naira some of these corrupt leaders looted, it is more than enough to put the country in a better condition. The sad aspect is that these looted funds are kept just like that without reinvesting them into the Nigerian economy which would at least create employment for the ordinary people of the country and some of them are parading themselves as very educated individuals. Honestly Viewers Corner News and the advisory team regard most of them as human beings with very low mentality without the fear of God Almighty in them and they do not care whether their fellow human beings survive or not. Their actions have already proved them to be so. Corruption, stealing and embezzlement are all wrong but if you have to do this since it is in your system, please reinvest your loots right into the economy of your country (Nigeria) and in so doing, you would be creating thousands of jobs for people of your country instead of taking those loots abroad or hiding them right inside your homes. This is purely economic waste and only people with very low mentality, selfish, greedy and wicked do things this way. On the other hand, we plead with the Nigerian law makers to kindly start living clean by doing the jobs which they are elected to do. Please work to improve the quality of lives of all the people of your country (Nigeria), this is part of your assignment which you all in the House owe Nigerians so that they would be able to live a normal and happy life.
