EVEN IF PRESIDENT BUHARI APPOINTS HIS MINISTERS TODAY, HE HAS FALLEN SHORT OF WHAT IS EXPECTED OF HIM AND HIS GOVERNMENT.

President Buhari’s body language when he was elected the president of Nigeria in 2015 was not put into use. Lots of people in Nigeria accepted him based on his past record as a military man and as a man who would take Nigeria to a greater height. In the past, President Buhari and late General Tunde Idiagbon were all the country (Nigeria) needed to fix the badly damaged economy. Though they came as military men but their vision was to make Nigeria great and a working nation in the world, but now President Buhari as a civilian leader who has all the powers in his hand to fix Nigeria is not performing as expected. We (Viewers Corner News team) understand that in democracy, he needs all the arms of government to succeed which is where playing politics comes in and if those you believe would get the job done in Nigeria are having problems being confirmed as members of your cabinet either ways, then there are other methods in politics which any democratic leader can follow to have those people confirmed as long as they meant well for the country (Nigeria). That is not the issue now, our (Viewers Corner News team) concern is that some smart criminals in Nigeria have capitalised on President Buhari’s weak point to make governance in the country (Nigeria) a living hell which is bad and up till now President Buhari has not appointed his ministers, months after been elected to office. Such delay is more than enough to send any leader out of office because such a leader is not capable of taking the country (Nigeria) to the next level. Again, even if ministers are appointed today, it will still not change anything because the head has lost its way from governing the country (Nigeria) which is the truth. From now on President Buhari has three years and some months to leave office, what magic could he possibly perform within this period? Even if he is going to do well assuming, his leadership activities have lot of questions to answer. Look at insecurity in Nigeria today which the leadership of the country (Nigeria) does not know how to put an end to such serious problem affecting every part of the country (Nigeria). If it was in the days of military takeovers, such problem of insecurity is more than enough to chase away any democratic government out of power. Even if there is no money in one’s pocket but at least one should be able to live happily without fear of being killed each time an individual goes out to fend for his or her needs. However, we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to President Buhari to go back to the drawing table and seek for help on how to get things done properly. First appoint your ministers, let them start work immediately. Delays are not what Nigerians need at this point in time, doing so may affect your political party (APC) come 2023 based on what is going on in the country (Nigeria) at the moment. somehow it sounds so unrealistic but that is the truth which should be told at all times.
