Tinubu

Even if PDP/ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s government awards a multi-billion-naira VP’s residence to be constructed, must APC leadership continue on such a wasteful project?

Now the people of Nigeria have seen the level of intelligence of those they elected to manage the affairs of the country. So because ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s government allegedly awarded a contract years ago to construct the vice president’s official residence, which runs into billions of naira, then APC/President Bola Tinubu’s government would continue on such a wasteful venture? Now hear our point on this issue: there is nothing wrong with constructing such a project, but it should be done when certain important issues are properly handled. Fix the economy of Nigeria first before engaging in projects that would not bring value to the economy of the country. Those who installed the present leadership of Nigeria are to be blamed for the problems Nigeria as a country is facing at the moment, because looking at the ways they are conducting the affairs of the country, one can easily understand that they have absolutely nothing to offer the people of Nigeria. Again, the All Progressives Congress came to destroy the economy of Nigeria through reckless borrowing and spending of Nigeria’s resources. This is the truth that the people of Nigeria will have to live with. Look at another sad story of Mr. Gbajabiamila allegedly getting billions of naira to renovate his official residence and also to buy computers, while Nigerians who elected them to office can barely feed well. All these huge sums of money that the APC leadership is squandering are more than enough to create jobs for the unemployed in Nigeria. This is so pathetic. These issues coming from leaders of Nigeria who supposedly are believed to be educated are giving Nigerians both at home and abroad reasons to keep asking questions concerning the credibility of those leading the country. The politicians in Nigeria campaigned to end poverty in the country, but the way it is now, they are the ones creating poverty in Nigeria, which is bad.
