Viewers Corner News team visited the northern part of Nigeria recently on a working tour, what we saw revealed to us that Nigeria is blessed by God through various ways. We had the opportunity of seeing nature at work, agricultural products produced by the local farmers are everywhere in all the places our team visited. This is nice but we also discovered that so many things need to be done to assist these local farmers. They are doing great and should be commended but the federal government of Nigeria should encourage them by training them on modern farming techniques and preservation of their farm products so that it should not only be a seasonal thing. Nigerian government should create industries or a soft landing process where some businessmen would invest in that sector by building factories that would help the farmers to package their products which would be sold at every supermarket across the country (Nigeria). This agricultural process should be a continuous thing so that anytime the citizens of the country (Nigeria) need to buy food, they can easily find one in various markets across the country. Again this process is being practised in most advanced countries around the world, all Nigerian government needs to do is make funds available to farmers and some sincere businessmen who have passion to work in this sector to produce positive result. If this is done properly, there would be more foods in the country (Nigeria) to buy and eat at affordable prices. Even if an individual does not have enough money in his possession but the little one he or she has should be enough at least to get some quality foods to buy and eat. Viewers Corner News and the Advisory team is appealing to President Buhari and his government to think towards this aspect (agriculture) so that in the near future, the Nigerian people would have enough food to eat. We should always remember that the Nigerian population is growing at a faster rate and urgent attention to suit this condition is required before it is too late.
