Viewers Corner’s correspondent in Bangkok learnt that about eight people lost their lives and seven others were seriously injured at the headquarters of Siam Commercial Bank in Bangkok (one of Thailand’s largest commercial banks). According to report, the ugly incident occurred when workers of the bank mistakenly released fire extinguishing chemicals (Pyrogen aerosol) during an upgrade of the building’s safety system. Those who died in the accident are identified as the bank’s security guard and seven contractors. Viewers Corner sympathize with the families of those who lost their loved ones on this tragedy and may their souls rest in peace.
