DR. NGOZI OKONJO IWEALA SAID THAT 500 MILLION DOLLARS (65 BILLIONS NAIRA) FROM ABACHA’S LOOT WAS USED ON ROADS, ELECTRICITY, EDUCATION, HEALTH AND WATER. IS THIS WOMAN TELLING THE TRUTH?

Viewers Corner’s correspondent in Abuja (Nigeria) was informed that Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala said that the money recovered from Abacha’s loot was used for roads, electricity, health, education and water. Some of the Nigerian people he interviewed who are in various management positions in the country were doubtful because if such huge amount of money was invested  into the country, all the facilities mentioned in this article will surely be working perfectly. Sure, we (Viewers Corner) agreed with Nigerians because during Goodluck Jonathan’s era (the former President of Nigeria), all the basic amenities that can keep one going were all lacking in the country. So where did they spend such huge amount of money on? Hopefully corruption as usual which has ruined the country and also the continent of Africa, this is too bad.
However it would be better if she can explain more to the Nigerian people concerning this Abacha’s loots and how the money was used, certainly not on these facilities she mentioned because her explanations are questionable.
