DR IBE KACHIKWU SAID THAT NIGERIA WOULD STOP IMPORTING FUEL BY 2019 BUT WOULD NEED ABOUT 50 BILLION DOLLARS TO ACHIEVE THAT PURPOSE.

Even if the country (Nigeria) is able to raise 50 billion dollars for the petroleum corporation to take care of this infrastructural gap as  proposed by the minister of state for petroleum (Dr Ibe Kachikwu), Viewers Corner News and the Advisory Team do not believe that the country (Nigeria) would stop importing fuel. This is because in the past, Dr Ibe Kachikwu (the Nigerian minister of state for petroleum) has said so many things about when Nigerians would start getting fuel to buy but none of them seems to be working and now what made him think that if the petroleum corporation gets this huge amount of money (50billion dollars), it would not be the same old story? Again before this proposition would be considered which we are sure that Dr Ibe Kachikwu and his corporation have not fully studied to a conclusive end before making this statement, this petroleum division is a complex one and needs a careful comprehensive study before result can fully be achieved. Therefore we advise Ibe Kachikwu to please do his homework nicely before letting it out to the Nigerian public because all your analysis in the past were never correct.
