Corruption is a killer disease which must be eradicated in Nigeria and the only person that can do that successfully for now in Nigeria is President Muhammadu Buhari. Most reputable media groups world wide applaud him and his administration on the fight to get this deadly disease called correction cured in Nigeria. The only thing President Buhari and his administration need is the cooperation of all Nigerians to be able to cure this deadly disease permanently. Viewers Corner also gathered from our source in Abuja (Nigeria) that Dr. Frederick Fasehun, the founder of Oodua Peoples Congress mentioned recently in his statement that the way and manner President Buhari is going about with his fight against corruption by downgrading and humiliating the leaders is not right. Dr. Frederick Fasehun also strongly condemned the handcuff placed on the National Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Olisa Metuh.
We (Viewers Corner) analyzed his statements to mean that he may be among those aiding corruption in Nigeria. Again no matter who is involved in corruption whether the person is rich or a well known individual, the law must surely prevail therefore for someone like Dr. Frederick Fasehun who we thought would lead well if given the opportunity to do so, coming out at this trying period to encourage corruption is very surprising, unacceptable and disgraceful too. For him to singled out some leaders in Nigeria which should not be touched no matter the nature of offence they may have allegedly committed is very wrong. Now with such statements, how can anyone in Nigeria trust this kind of a man because we believe that if he becomes the President of Nigeria in future, corruption would be celebrated. It is like when someone steals 10,000 Naira, he will go to jail for a very long time but when some of these Nigerian leaders were busy looting the treasury, they should be allowed free access to do so. This is injustice and we should understand that everybody is equal before the law and so shall it be.
