Viewers Corner News source in Brasilia informed us that Dilma Vana Rousseff, the Brazil’s suspended president has finally been removed from office by the country’s Senate. According to the information, Dilma Rousseff who was accused of breaking fiscal laws was voted out from office on Wednesday by the Senate and her vice president, Michel Temer was immediately sworn in as the president of Brazil.
Dilma Rousseff was first female president of the Federal Republic of Brazil and won her re-election in 2014 by garnering over 54 million votes. After the Senate suspended Dilma Vana Rousseff in May 2016, the 75-year-old Michel Temer became the country’s interim president and he will serve the remaining terms of Rousseff which is expected to end in 2018.
