The Nigeria former petroleum minister Diezani Alison Madueke’s arrest in London is long overdue because she ignored all the advice given to her by some good citizens of the world to appear in person to the federal government of Nigeria and quietly return the stolen wealth in her possession so that she would be free or seek dialogue to settle her problems with the Nigerian authority which she did not do so she has to face the law.
She is among the most corrupt government officials that served under the leadership of ex-president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan. she thought it was going to be business as usual, honestly we thank God Almighty for bringing President Buhari to rescue Nigeria. Assuming President Buhari did not come in as the President of Nigeria, all the stolen wealth from lots of these politicians that ruled Nigeria in the past would have not be made known to the general public. Again, we sincerely wish and hope that all the allegations against Alison Madueke be made known to her as soon as possible, let the law take its due process so that the would be politicians coming in now would have a second thoughts before dipping their hands into government treasury. This however, will serve as an example to everyone because nobody is above the law. Once again, may the God Almighty guide and protect President Buhari and his team as they are trying to clean Nigeria and make it a corrupt free Nation.
