Diezani Alison Madueke, the former petroleum minister of Nigeria is one woman Nigerians would not forget in a hurry when it comes to issue of corruption. Even though she has not been tried in a law court in Nigeria but still the evidence is everywhere, how Nigeria became her personal ATM machine and she took money as she wanted but all these were in the past, such possibility will not be there anymore, all thanks to president Buhari and his government. Recently a federal high court in Nigeria ordered that about 153 million dollars which Diezani Alison Madueke (the Nigeria former minister of petroleum) has in the bank be forfeited to the federal government of Nigeria based on the information Viewers Corner News team gathered. This huge amount of money was part of what she allegedly stole when she was the minister of petroleum in Nigeria, even a private estate was recently discovered according to our correspondent in Abuja Nigeria which is owned by Diezani Alison Madueke. This was built with the money she stole from the treasury of Nigeria as alleged while millions of Nigerians are there and can not afford basic needs to keep life going. All these terrible atrocities happened under the leadership of ex- president Goodluck Jonathan’s government and even the ex-minister of finance Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala was not aware of the damages done to the country by the ex-petroleum minister. Normally as the coordinating minister of finance, such mistakes should have been found but I don’t care attitude was played. In our (Viewers Corner News) opinion, we believe that they were aware of all these wrong doings but decided to cover them up. We say so because there is no way such huge amount of money would be going out of the petroleum ministry without the coordinating minister of finance not noticing such huge amount. Even though it is not her ministry, she supposed to know about it. Now this 153 million dollars is just one aspect of it, what of those stolen billions of dollars she allegedly banked abroad? This woman Diezani Alison Madueke (the Nigeria ex-minister of petroleum) finished the country (Nigeria) and still most Nigerians are not understanding what caused economic recession in the country (Nigeria). This is part of it because the money that would have been used to create infrastructures were allegedly stolen by Diezani Alison Madueke and other dubious Nigerian politicians which brought the country (Nigeria) to the situation it is at the moment. However with president Buhari’s government in power, they will surely eradicate corruption and bring the damaged economy to life.
