We (Viewers corner) were reliably informed that what Diezani Alison Madueke allegedly looted from the Nigerian treasury has been returned back to the federal government of Nigeria though the said amount was not disclosed to Viewers corner’s correspondent in Abuja (Nigeria). If she actually returned the money back to the government of Nigeria, then she did the right thing because most people in Nigeria believe that her hands were not clean when she was the Nigerian petroleum minister during the government of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan. As alleged she was among those corrupt politicians that ruined the economy of Nigeria despite her denials in the past that she did not steal any money from the Nigerian government. Somehow as time goes on, we are of the opinion that more and more people would do the same thing by returning the money they stole from the government treasury during the past administration.
Again the hardship Nigerian people are facing at the moment is as a result of what the likes of Diezani Alison Madueke put them into while their children are studying in the best schools in various countries around the world. Hopefully we (Viewers corner) shall continue to pray for Diezani Alison Madueke so that the Almighty God in his mercy would heal her from her illness so that she would have the opportunity to live a normal and happy life again.
