DAVID EARL MILLER (61 YEARS) WHO HAS BEEN ON DEATH ROW FOR 36 YEARS HAS BEEN EXECUTED BY TENNESSEE.

David Earl Miller who was convicted of beating and stabbing to death a 23-year-old woman with a mental disability was electrocuted recently at a high security prison in Nashville. He had been on death row for 36 years and his execution is the second use of an electric chair in the United States after it had not been used since 2013. He (David Earl Miller) beat and stabbed Lee Standifer on May 20, 1981 while on a date with her. Miller was sentenced to death in 1982 and again in 1987 after the state supreme court ordered another trial.
