When the senate president of Nigeria (Bukola Saraki) was accused of false assets declaration including other charges against him by the federal government of Nigeria, the issue became a heat, meaning that most evidences presented before the code of conduct tribunal at that time seemed to be more than enough to put him (Bukola Saraki) behind bars. Within that period, the chairman (Danladi Umar) of code of conduct tribunal and his department were tough on the issue meaning that at the end the truth shall come out and conviction made based on the assumed hard works of the tribunal but immediately president Buhari left Nigeria on medical vacation abroad which many believed may turn out on the wrong side of life, then everything about Bukola Saraki’s case changed. Then out of the 18 count charges preferred against him was thrown into the trash box by the code of conduct tribunal and Bukola Saraki was declared innocent in all the charges which was very surprising but then the rule of law has to be respected and obeyed because Danladi Umar and his tribunal had given a verdict on that case. Again similar issue happened in Ibori’s case who was the former governor of Delta state. A court in Nigeria acquitted him in all the charges preferred against him after an underground method was used as alleged but later another court found him guilty and sent him to jail. Now the point Viewers Corner News team is trying to establish here is that if president Buhari had not been sick and gone for a long medical vacation abroad, believe it or not, an honest verdict would have been given in Bukola Saraki’s case meaning that Danladi Umar (the chairman of code of conduct tribunal) knew what happened. Now this same Danladi Umar is allegedly being accused of receiving millions of Naira from one Mr Rasheed Owolabi Taiwo as bribe to do the unthinkable which he allegedly did based on the information we (Viewers Corner News) gathered from our correspondent in Abuja, Nigeria. Again this brings us to this question; those calling on Nigerian youths to take over the leadership of the country (Nigeria), have they really done their home works properly as regards laying a good foundation for them to get started? Are the Nigerian youths really ready and have all it takes at this point in time to run a successful government without being manipulated from behind by the big names and the other money bags in the country (Nigeria)? Would the Nigerian youths really pledge their loyalty to the development and welfare of all Nigerians without selling the country to the highest bidder in Nigeria or abroad? These questions shall be answered as time goes on. Now the chairman (Danladi Umar) of code of conduct tribunal is a young man who was placed on a sensitive position, who should have proved his capability on that job but allegedly may be having some credibility issues and Nigeria as a country have such group of young men in the country wanting to be leaders. Can they really perform? Look at Mr Abdulrasheed Maina of the pension division who is a middle aged man still hiding after allegedly embezzling trillions of pension money with his associates. These are young men lots of Nigerians would have trusted to do the right thing but at the end may be worst than the elderly ones who led the country (Nigeria) in the past and are still there now. However, president Buhari remains the only man in Nigeria who is not corrupt and should be encouraged to contest the 2019 presidential election. He has done more than every leader in Nigeria within few years of his leadership. He is laying a foundation for those that would come after him, hence we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to all Nigerians to vote for him to continue his second tenure come 2019. Things generally are extremely hard at the moment in Nigeria but shall be very alright as time goes on because president Buhari and his team have all it takes to fix the economy of the country (Nigeria). Believe it or not, that is the truth and nothing but the truth.
