CORRUPTION, A LONGTIME TREND IN THE NIGERIAN PORTS AUTHORITY, SOME NIGERIAN BANKS HAVE ALREADY BEEN LINKED TO IT AND THE NEW PORTS AUTHORITY BOSS (HADIZA BALA USMAN) SEEMS TO BE PUTTING THINGS RIGHT. THIS IS GREAT AND SHOULD BE COMMENDED FOR.

Viewers Corner News and the advisory team has always believed in the power and competence of women more especially when it comes to assigning them to leadership positions, honestly most of them can never disappointment you when compare to men at the leadership level. All they need is just freehand and guidelines on what to do, believe me they would deliver very nicely. Believe it or not, this is the truth and Viewers Corner News team favours more women being in position of authority than men because they would get the business done properly. This description here fits in nicely to the recently appointed Nigerian Ports Authority boss, Hadiza Bala Usman. When she was appointed, lots of people in the country (Nigeria) criticized her wrongly for not having experience on the job and so on but such a woman is what Nigeria needs at this trying times to move the country forward. As soon as she resumed office at the ports authority, she started to cleanup the desks of the alleged corrupt men who were there before she came into the office and she has done wonderfully. In line with the war against corruption, she has been able to trace some huge amount of money worth 11.23 billions Naira to some banks in the country (Nigeria). This alleged fraud was most probably carried out by those corrupt individuals who worked there in the past. Look at such huge amount of money which would have been used to create better facilities for the Nigerian people have been hidden in the bank for so long, if she (Hadiza Bala Usman) has not been appointed such discovery would never have been made.
This again bring us to this issue of corruption in almost every sector of Nigeria economy,  this is a killer disease and must be eradicated in the country so that Nigeria as a nation can be cured from this killer disease called corruption. Again no one should undermine the power of any woman and on this note, Viewers Corner News and the advisory team is appealing to president Buhari and his government to make more appointments of women into various leadership positions in the country like we have suggested in the past because most women can never disappoint the nation. Even if they go wrong, they would admit by saying the truth better than most men who would steal billions of Naira and still will deny any knowledge of wrong doings instead they would hire hundreds of lawyers to defend them in the court of law. With women, it is always different and they have been proven to be great leaders.
