Viewers Corner’s correspondent in Berlin (Germany) was informed that Chinese home appliance maker (Midea) is making a strong move to takeover the German industrial robot maker, Kuka. According to the report, on Friday, May 27th, Kuka’s chief executive welcomed the takeover bid which worth about 4.5 billion euro ($5 billion) saying that the bid would support the company’s (Kuka) strategy of reaching a billion euros in sales by 2020. Over the years, the world’s second-largest economy (China) has become the world’s biggest market for industrial robots and the number of robots sold in the country (China) has risen to 16 percent in 2015.
